The focus is on ourselves and our need to re-establish our ties and connections. Never before have we perceived this sense of belonging as an indirect response to climate change, the escalation of global conflict and a rise in protectionism. For this trend we have identified two moods.Folklore: regional and cultural ties, gender and origin all have an influence. Folklore is a way people share an identity and a strong sense of belonging.The colour palette goes bold with a shift to primaries; bright blue, orange, ruby red, emerald green, festive colours and patterns. Discovery&Diversion celebrates our fascination with technology. The barriers of time are being shattered, even more so are those of space, in the wake of a renewed enthousiasm for conquering the universe.The colour palette sees the resurgence of total black, earthy colours and more evanescent colours and translucid surfaces.
